Testing is completed to determine the type and degree of hearing loss. Testing is available to all ages from birth to adults.
Dizziness is a common problem for many individuals. We have testing available to address issues regarding balance and dizziness. An evaluation by an ENT physician is recommended prior to these tests.
These appointments are educational and informative. The patient will work with an audiologist to determine the appropriate hearing aid based on their hearing loss, lifestyle, and budget. The selection and fitting appointments usually take 60 minutes and are scheduled 2 weeks apart. A test designed to assess patients who have problems with dizziness and balance. This test consists of three sub-tests and takes approximately 90 minutes. It is important that if you are scheduled for this test you complete the questionnaire and follow the pre-test instructions.
