- Hearing Evaluation
Testing is completed to determine the type and degree of hearing loss. Testing is available to all ages from birth to adults.
- Balance Evaluation
Dizziness is a common problem for many individuals. We have testing available to address issues regarding balance and dizziness. An evaluation by an ENT physician is recommended prior to these tests.
- Hearing Aid Selection and Fitting
These appointments are educational and informative. The patient will work with an audiologist to determine the appropriate hearing aid based on their hearing loss, lifestyle, and budget. The selection and fitting appointments usually take 60 minutes and are scheduled 2 weeks apart. - Hearing Aid Repair
Hearing aids can be repaired through office regardless if they have been purchased here. We service the following brands of hearing aids: Oticon, Phonak, Microtech, GN Resound, and Starkey.
- Hearing Protection
Any kind of noise exposure is potentially damaging to hearing, so whether your noise exposure comes from your work environment or just mowing your lawn, custom earmolds can provide protection from noise-induced hearing loss
- Musician's Monitors
These professional musician monitors are designed for live concert sound reinforcement, film and/or video production. They work with any wireless or hardwired receiver for stereo, binaural or monoaural sound quality.
- Tympanogram
A pressure test designed to assess the eardrum movement. The test gives information regarding possible problems of the middle ear.
- Otoacoustic Emmissions
A specialized test that allows us to evaluate how the cells in the inner ear are functioning.
- Electronystagmography (ENG)
A test designed to assess patients who have problems with dizziness and balance. This test consists of three sub-tests and takes approximately 90 minutes. It is important that if you are scheduled for this test you complete the questionnaire and follow the pre-test instructions.
- Brainstem Evoked Response (BSER)
A test designed to assess auditory nerve functioning. This test is completed without the need for patient response and can be completed while sleeping. The test compares the responses between ears to determine if both nerves are functioning equally. The test takes approximately 60 minutes.
