Dr. Irene grew up in Wisconsin and completed her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin Madison in communicative disorders. She went on to receive her Master of Science degree from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. She received her Doctor of Audiology degree through Arizona School of Health Sciences, in December 2006.
Dr. Irene has been with Moreland Ear, Nose, and Throat/Professional Hearing Services since 1999. She is the Senior Staff Audiologist. She has a special interest in children and has participated as a consultant for the Birth to Three Program and Sound Beginnings Program. Dr. Irene volunteered on the BEST committee for the American Academy of Audiology and has published a number of articles on marketing as a result. She loves working with people and truly enjoys the field of Audiology. Her philosophy is patient centered care focusing on the unique goals of each patient to improve their quality of life. Out of the office, Dr. Irene balances her time cartwheeling from gym to gym with her two competitive gymnasts. She also enjoys spending time with her family and children, water sports, yoga, and skiing.
